Arianne Travis is a soft-spoken, graceful, and stylish lady who is very dedicated to our work at GenderEvolve.  She can always be counted upon to lend an ear or shoulder, and she is completely supportive of everyone in our group. She is non-critical and accepting of people from all walks of life because her expansive mind and open heart truly love diversity.  She is fun-loving and zany, with an eclectic assortment of interests ranging from haute couture fashions, to culinary arts, to rocket science. Arianne is as soft as a light breeze on a summers' day, yet underneath it all, she is as strong as a rock.  Arianne as a key contributor and respected leader at GenderEvolve.  We dearly appreciate her addition to the special bond we have among us.  We love you Arianne!

Arianne's words of wisdom: "I am at a stage in my life where I do know what I want and feel very comfortable with my duality. Ever since my childhood I've been feeling the need to BE what you'll see in these pictures, even taking quite a bit of trial and error to get everything balanced in my life. I'm human too. "

Arianne's Contributions...

Mythologically Speaking ~ Going back to ancient Greece, a much simpler time if you ask me, there used to be nine goddesses, all daughters of Zeus, who were personifying a source of inspiration to artists, poets, musicians and probably many more beyond that. They were the key to the good life since they brought both prosperity and friendship. Aren't we all like artists in our very personal journey of transgenderism, our constant evolution? Everyone is a painter after spending so much time in front of the mirror, a singer if you ever tried to soften your voice like a female or a dancer for walking around in heels for hours... in my book anyway.

Evolution, Lesson 1 ~ Gender evolution... WOW! I mean I feel like being philosophical here, can someone really evolve in his/her gender self definition? I'm inclined to think so. Wait, of course we do! We all start somewhere and move somewhere else, right? Change should be constant. Whatever happens along the way makes us stronger, better, a bit like mother nature trying new recipes of life, new combinations, new sequences of atoms, etc... some are good choices, some are mistakes, errors, faults, erratums.

GenderEvolve @ mySpace ~ Arianne took the time and initiative to establish a presence for GenderEvolve on the popular main-stream portal, mySpace.com.  Through this effort, we are able to reach out to groups of people outside of the TG community, and bring them our message of hope and understanding.  Arianne manages the day-to-day operation of our mySpace presence, where she answers email, connects with new friends on our behalf, and leaves uplifting comments in  people's guestbooks.  We are truly pleased with the response our mySpace profile has received, and of particular note is the number of genetic females that have joined our friends list.
